Scheduled Visits and Pricing:

  • Plumbing MCI Professional Plumbers will visit your location to perform the tasks outlined above twice a year. The customer can request specifice dates for these visits (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm).
  • Preventative Maintenance Plan (PMP) goes into effect on the date the customer submits our form and expires one year from that date.
  • Purchase of the (PMP) entitles the customer to a 10% discount on parts and labor for any additional services.
  • Any repair work performed is guaranteed for one year from the date of service.
  • The Preventative Maintenance Plan is non-refundable, but can be transferred to a new home if the customer moves within the agreement period.

Water Heater:

  • Check thermostat and elements on your electric heater
  • Inspect burner and gas valve for flame appearance and sooting, then perform draft test at the flue for your gas heater
  • Clean air intake for gas water heater (where applies)
  • Test pressure and temperature relief valve
  • Inspect for signs of leakage or scaling
  • Calibrate water temperature
  • Record model & serial number for expediency; monitor manufacturer recalls and warranty issues

Kitchen Sink:

  • Inspect faucet for leaks and proper operation
  • Check that faucet is securely fastened to deck
  • Check sink cabinet for signs of leaks
  • Check control valves for positive shut-off
  • Inspect garbage disposal for proper operation and demonstrate how to free jammed garbage disposals

Tubs and Showers:

  • Check for proper drainage
  • Check for missing caulk/ loose tile
  • Check shower head for obstructions/leading to low water pressure and flow
  • Check for smooth reliable operation of faucets
  • Verify tub stoppers are operative

Vanities and Sinks:

  • Check for proper drainage
  • Check valves for positive shut off/ no leaks
  • Check faucet for leaks
  • Check connections, trap, etc. for signs of leaking

Outside Spigots:

  • Check for leaks
  • Check shut off valve for outside spigot to be sure it is holding
  • Label shut off valves and post directions to properly winterize


  • Check condensate line to sump pump for proper drainage
  • Check sump pump for signs of wear
  • Check washing machine hoses for signs of leakage and wear
  • Advise homeowner of location and operation of all shut off valves in house and identify each
  • Check water pressure reducing valve
  • Check condensation drains
  • Inspect refrigerator water supply box and line
  • Check gas system for leak(s)
